Ciprofloxacin and is a common antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, such as bacterial eye infections (BIs), urinary tract infections, and infections of the soft tissues and skin. Hi! I'm a 20-year-old female who's currently on a 12-week course of Cipro, which I believe is due to my Cipro infection. She's taking an antibiotic (which I believe is tetracycline) which works the same way as an antibiotic to clear my infection.
I also feel like she's continuing to get better. She has been on Cipro for 2 weeks now (she's been on it for a week now). She's started feeling better, but the feeling is not helping. She's on the 40mg daily dose of Cipro and they're trying to switch her to 10mg daily, but she's still on that for 3 days. She has had no side effects from the 40mg dose (she's on the 10mg daily dose).
I'm thinking this is due to having a bacterial infection, which has been affecting her a lot. I also think she's experiencing a flare up from her stomach bug. I think she's on 10mg and is doing fine, but she's feeling worse than usual.
This sounds very unlikely, but it's not something I would recommend, but I'm not going to get anywhere near as much help as I would need. I'm just hoping she's on Cipro now, and maybe getting better soon.
Thanks for the advice!
Hi,
I have a feeling this could be due to her Toxemia, which is a bacterial infection of the brain that is causing her to get sick. I am also taking a combination of Cipro, a Tetracycline and an antibiotic called Amoxicillin which will help to clear her infection. Amoxicillin is also in a different class of antibiotics called Beta-lactam antibiotics and is usually prescribed to treat infections caused by bacteria.
The symptoms are similar, but not exactly the same. I'm not really sure what to do about her symptoms, but if she's suffering from one of the infections (like she's not feeling well at all), I will try to get better and try to get a different antibiotic to treat her. I'm not going to give up hope for her, but I suspect it's her Toxemia, which is causing her to get sick.
Any advice is appreciated!
My husband was prescribed Cipro by my doctor. His first experience with the drug had been from being in the early stages of the infection. We were given an antibiotic called Amoxicillin and he ended up with a bacterial infection in his stomach (which was making the infection worse). He took Cipro for 6 weeks before finally getting better. I'm not sure if this is due to the drug or whether the antibiotic is still working.
If you have any questions or need some help, please let us know.
Thanks,
Cheryl
Hello,
My husband is on antibiotics for bacterial infections. He has a bacterial infection, but has not been able to get better. He's taking an antibiotic for a UTI that's causing it, which is a bacterial infection of the urinary tract. Amoxicillin can help clear the infection. He is taking 10mg of amoxicillin daily to treat the infection. He's also on a course of Cipro to treat the infection as well. He's just not feeling well, and it's not helping him. He's had a couple of heart attacks, but is on the 40mg daily dose. He's been taking a tablet for about 3 weeks, so I can't be sure if it's the antibiotic or if it's just not working. He's on the 40mg daily dose, but seems to be better at it, so hopefully he's getting better and can start feeling better.
If you're having trouble with the symptoms, please let us know.
My husband is on antibiotics for a bacterial infection and has had a flare up from it. His antibiotics for the infection, as well as Cipro, have been stopping his body from being able to get better. He's also on the 40mg daily dose of Cipro and he's not feeling well.
I would definitely be interested in trying the antibiotic.
